Our mobile outreach teams are dedicated to reaching communities in rural and hard-to-access areas, ensuring that everyone has access to the care they need. We are proud to be known for delivering trusted, high-quality services with compassion and respect.
We place a strong focus on long-acting and permanent methods (LAPMs), while also supporting access to short-term contraception. Our teams provide clear, supportive information to help you understand your options and choose the family planning method that feels right for you.

Our outreach teams are comprised of both experienced clinical and health promotion staff. Team members consist of individuals from the local communities in which we work, ensuring we always have people on hand who speak local languages and have good working relationships with government partners.
Marie Stopes Ethiopia operates 10 outreach teams that provide long-acting and permanent methods of family planning for clients in rural districts in Oromia, Amhara, SNNPR, Tigray and Afar administrative regions.

Our centres
We currently operate 20 centres in Ethiopia. These centres provide quality, voluntary family planning services and a full range of other sexual reproductive health services.
Call centres
Our clients are always free to contact us with any concerns or queries they may have. Our helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff are there to guide our clients on a variety of issues.
BlueStar clinics
Our private sector provider (or social franchises), BlueStar, deliver high quality sexual reproductive health services through a network of more than 500 clinics across Ethiopia.
