A Total market approach
Marie Stopes Ethiopia is committed to strengthening health systems across the country.
We work in close partnership with the public health sector to enhance and support existing services through what we call a “total market approach.” By doing so, we expand access and choice for women, while building the capacity of the broader healthcare system to deliver high-quality, sustainable care.

This is in order to expand access to high quality family planning and pregnancy crisis management services.
Through expanding access we are able to provide services to more people across Ethiopia than ever before and, most importantly, ensuring we provide the highest of quality standards to all our clients.
Policy and advocacy
We currently play an ever more active role in helping to ensure that the progressive policies are understood and implemented.
Advocacy has never been more important for our mission. As part of our governing 2020 strategy, Scaling-up Excellence, we recognise that providing services alone will not secure universal access to quality services, and that to catalyse real change we need to transform the environments in which we operate.
