Supporting Your Baby in Neonatal Care

Our neonatal unit provides care for babies with a variety of medical conditions and needs. Some of these issues may be identified before your baby is born, while others may only become apparent after birth. Babies may require special care if they are born prematurely, if they are born at full term with certain health needs, or if they have genetic or inherited conditions. Some babies may also have developed differently during pregnancy; these are known as congenital conditions.

Your baby’s healthcare team will guide you through their condition and provide the necessary information and support. Please feel free to ask if there is ever anything you would like explained further. Our caring staff are there to support you and will be happy to answer your questions and talk through any concerns you may have.
